Following in the footsteps of the Harlestone Derby sneaker, the Everdon is the second style to be added to the Hand Stitch Collection. A striking mid-boot sneaker with a unique wholecut design, the Everdon's minimal styling oozes confidence that allows it to be worn casually with jeans and chinos or in smarter settings as a dress sneaker. Signed off with trademark hand stitch detail to firmly hold the tongue in place, with double stitched rear dog tail tabs to the heel. Balanced, lightweight, and perfect for all seasons.

The Scottish Deer suede we have selected is fully traceable from within the UK where it is also tanned and finished by Barrhead Kid Co. Sourced from the Barrhead region of Scotland, deer suede is luxuriously soft to the touch with a plush nap, whilst also managing to retain high levels of strength and durability that make it ideal for everyday wear. With deep, thorough dyeing techniques utilised throughout the Barrhead range, rich finishes of the highest quality are guaranteed. These carefully managed levels of detail and preparation made this particular material the perfect choice for our premium Hand Stitch Collection. Fully sourced, tanned, and finished in Scotland, UK.

The four main shoemaking stages once an order is placed...

    Clicking

The ‘clicking’ or cutting process as it is also known is the very start of your shoes being made, the leather is cut into the shapes that make up your silhouette either by hand or on a press.

    Closing

Once all the components of the shoe are cut they go through several processes that are essential to the construction then they are sewn together to make the upper.

    Lasting

A last is a template form that is unique to each shoe size and style, the upper is pulled onto the last to give it the final shape of the shoe ready for a sole to be fitted. Once the sole is fitted the shoe will have it’s complete form.

    Shoe Rooming

The final stage of the factory process your shoes go through the hands of our quality checkers and the finish is applied to the leather or suede to finish the shoe and ensure it looks it’s absolute best.
