The Woodford Desert Boot

The Woodford is a classic 1950's style, 2 eyelet desert boot style with natural crepe sole, and choice of side sole colour. Derby lacing, stitchdown construction, and expertly handcrafted from premium materials.

Every pair is handmade to order in our Northampton factory. The upper is stitched down to the sole on a traditional Number 10 sole stitcher, the same stitchdown construction used across our Stitchdown Collection. The natural crepe soles are made in Northamptonshire and are lightweight, hardwearing and comfortable. For a lower four eyelet alternative, see the Grove Desert Shoe.

The Woodford is available in C.F. Stead kudu suede and Janus calf suede, as well as Horween Chromexcel leather. Sizing is unisex, so please check our sizing guide before ordering. When the sole eventually wears down, our crepe sole resole service lets us resole your pair at the factory. To learn where the style began, read our history of the desert boot.
