Self Measuring Guide Steps

Step 1

Wear the thickness of socks you intend to wear with the footwear.

Step 2

Roll up your trousers, above pen height.

Step 3

Place a piece of paper against a wall.

Step 4

Place your feet shoulder-width apart.

Step 5

Place your foot on the paper with the heel firmly against the wall.

Step 6

Draw around your foot making sure to keep the pencil held upright and the line as close and as tight to the foot as possible.

Step 7

Once done, draw a straight line from the edge of the paper, to the furthest tip of your toe - make a note of this measurement in centimetres.

Step 8

Now, measure across the widest part of your foot, again noting the measurement in centimetres. Unless you have any particular or unusual features, this is all that you will need to measure.

Step 9

Finally, enter your measurements (in cm) into our sizing guide below and your recommended Crown Northampton size will be provided, in one of our three fitting options. You can place your order with us in confidence.

OK, SO WHAT NOW?

That's great. If you were recommended a size & fit that you expected, go ahead and place your order based on the recommendation. If you have any unique features or have a preference for a loose or close fit you can add any comments in the notes area during checkout.

These are Crown Northampton UK sizes, if you look in the sneakers you normally wear, it will show UK, US and Euro size.

If our recommendation is over half a size different (up or down) to what you would normally wear then you may have more unusual feet than you thought. Don't worry, this is more common than you think.

In this situation, we suggest ordering the bigger size. For example, if your left foot recommendation is a size 9, but your right foot is a 9.5, then order the 9.5 size.

Just add additional comments in the notes area during checkout about the difference in foot length and we can make adjustments to your footwear.

The difference between fittings are extremely small — around 3mm. So, don't worry if the recommendation is narrow or wide; your footwear won't look slim or clunky.

If one foot is wide (G) and the other standard (F), choose the wider G fit. Just add additional comments in the notes area during checkout about the difference in fit and we can make adjustments to your footwear.

If your measurements fall outside our standard size range, do not worry. Every pair of Crowns is made to order, and we are here to help craft the right fit for you.

We of course except returns, it has taken a long time to work out this sizing guide and we are confident in it, but if there are any issues, we are happy to remake or refund. We have very few returns for fit.
