GENERAL FIT INFORMATION
Crown Northampton footwear fits true to UK sizing and all sizes are unisex so please order accordingly. We suggest ordering your usual UK size or corresponding US size in the table below.
All of our collections are made to an F fitting as standard. This is an industry average fit that will suit most feet but we are also able to offer a wider than average G fitting on request.
If you require a wide fit, please just add 'G Fitting' in the checkout notes box before payment. These notes will be added to your order and passed on our factory. Our unique wide fitting service is a popular choice among many customers.

CM MEASUREMENT VS ACTUAL FOOT LENGTH
For a more precise size guide that is specific to Crown Northampton footwear, we ask that you go by our listed CM measurements vs the actual length of your foot.
In order to get the best size for your feet, follow these simple steps:
1. Place your foot on a piece of paper and mark the two furthest points from your heel to your longest toe, then take the measurement from point to point.
2. Using the size table above you can compare between UK/US/EU sizing in centimetres, we recommend you select a size around 0.4 CM to 0.8 CM longer than your actual foot measurement for the optimum fit.
We take our listed CM measurements directly from the last so this size conversion method is the most accurate and personal to each customer.
COMPLIMENTARY INSOLES (Classic & TL Sneaker Collections Only)
With each Sneaker collection order we add in an extra pair of complimentary insoles with memory foam properties that can be slipped under the existing insoles if desired. This helps achieve a closer fit and in most cases compensates for a half size. This added extra is available with the Sneaker collection only.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Overstone TL is an alternative version of our original derby sneaker. Visibly slimmer in appearance, the TL features trimmed down uppers through reduced cushioning to the collar and tongue, with raw stitched finishing to the edges. The TL construction is lightweight in feel, form-fitting and lined with breathable natural leather which ensures they can be comfortably worn with or without socks, complete with extremely comfortable hand finished Crown Northampton insoles The custom made Crown Northampton sole unit offers strength, durability and comfort all in a lightweight base which is then securely attached with sidewall stitching, allowing for resoling in our factory at a later date if required. Further details include a Crown embossed tongue, premium waxed laces, handwritten internal style notes and an extra set of insoles that can be placed underneath the existing insoles to help tailor the fit if necessary. Kudu suedes and leathers are used by the world's best footwear brands. It has a soft, luxurious look and feel, yet is also known for its strength and durability. Kudu leather carries a distinctive, pronounced grain that can merge with natural marks and scars picked up when roaming the wild plains of Africa, whilst kudu suede is extremely soft and smooth to the touch with an overall delicate feel. However, don't let this put you off as kudu suede and leather contains extremely strong fibres that make it tough, flexible and resilient - as well as looking and feeling great. Sourced directly from the CF Stead Tannery in Leeds, England, kudu suede and leather are used across all Crown Northampton footwear collections due to its versatility, premium quality, and wearability.

- What are the main differences between your Overstone, Upton and Abington sneaker styles? They are all made on the same last so generally the overall fit is the same. The main difference is in the construction to the upper. The Overstone and Abington styles have an open derby construction which is made up of separate pieces. Also the Abington also has a leather toe cap piece. The Upton is slightly different as it is made with a wholecut, one piece upper that gives a continuous finish. All three styles are based on traditional Northampton footwear methods of construction - Derby, Wholecut, Toe cap. A more detailed review and summary can be found here.
- Do you offer a wide fitting option? Yes. All of our collections are made to an F fitting as standard.
