The Everdon Rambler is our continuation of the whole cut design, perfect for demonstrating the unique textures and patina that come with the world’s finest leathers. Having less joins also means it is the most suitable pattern for all weathers! D rings and speed hooks replace eyelets for easy lacing. Signed off with trademark hand stitch detail to firmly hold the tongue in place, with double stitched rear dog tail tabs to the heel. Balanced, lightweight, and perfect for all seasons.

A softer Horween leather with the thickness of Chromexcel, olive oil tanned leather has a strong grain that varies across the skin meaning no two pairs are the same. Imperfections are impossible to hide in this tanning process so only the top-grade hides with the least blemishes are selected. This durable leather will mould to the wearer's foot over a few weeks of wear and, with care, will last many a resole.

The four main shoemaking stages once an order is placed...

Clicking

The ‘clicking’ or cutting process as it is also known is the very start of your shoes being made, the leather is cut into the shapes that make up your silhouette either by hand or on a press.

Closing

Once all the components of the shoe are cut they go through several processes that are essential to the construction then they are sewn together to make the upper.

Lasting

A last is a template form that is unique to each shoe size and style, the upper is pulled onto the last to give it the final shape of the shoe ready for a sole to be fitted. Once the sole is fitted the shoe will have it’s complete form.

Shoe Rooming

The final stage of the factory process your shoes go through the hands of our quality checkers and the finish is applied to the leather or suede to finish the shoe and ensure it looks it’s absolute best.
