All of the skins we use are first carefully selected then the patterns for the uppers are hand-cut, machined, lasted, sidewall sole stitched then finished with a handwritten sign off if in our Northampton factory.

For this recent batch of black calf leather sneakers, we made up a selection of different styles and finished them with our three different sole colours available to order - Black, white and gum. A black leather upper is always a firm favourite when it comes to footwear due to its versatility, but a change of sole colour can make all the difference. All black can give an almost uniform military appearance whereas white can help break up the style and highlight the design details. The contrast of a gum compliments black and acts as a more contemporary statement; it also offers a point of difference to the traditional black and white finish normally found on minimal sneakers.
As you can see from the images, each separate colour combination creates its own look and feel and further adds to the custom choices available to order.
