The first step is to hand-pick the materials from over twenty cordovan colours we've used over the years, matching tones, judging the grain and deciding what can be made.
Making
Once colours are selected, the complex making takes place over the course of two days. The character of the leather drives every decision. No two items are ever the same.
Perfecting
Like watching artists at work, each handmade piece requires careful skiving to manage thickness, or repeated rounds of finishing to reach the standards the makers expect.
Finishing
